Dr. Hafeez Malik, professor of political science greeted eleven religious scholars from Uzbekistan on March 11 with two interpreters and two staff members from the International Visitors Council of Philadelphia. The Muslim scholars came to the United States under the sponsorship of the International Visitors Council of Philadelphia to study the life of Muslims in this country as well as issues of religious pluralism and inter-ethnic communication.
