Lorraine Gallagher-Williams, Media
Technologies and Creative Design department (MT/CD) will exhibit her work in
the Moore College of Art Annual Alumnae Exhibition. Her submission is one of
a handful selected of nearly 450 original entries for this yearly juried
competition. The 2005 theme, Multiples: Am I repeating myself? will
feature Lorraine’s original multimedia work, Swine Lake. The exhibit
will take place in March.
For the second year in a row, artists from Villanova
University’s Media Technologies and Creative Design department were asked to
submit original works of art to LaSalle University’s LaSallian Silent
Auction. This annual event benefits the undergraduate service trips
from LaSalle’s Office for University Ministry and Service. The 2005 auction,
which took place February 10th on the LaSalle campus, featured an
original oil-on-canvas landscape by Lorraine Gallagher-Williams, a
photographic series by Donna Blaszkowski and a calligraphic work by
Bernadette Dierkes. |
