    Dr. Crystal Lucky, Villanova professor of English, African Studies, and Women's Studies at Villanova, facilitated a discussion on Toni Morrison's "Sula" at Haverford Township Free Library, according to Delaware County Sunday Times. Narbeth's City Suburban News and Newtown Square's Haverford Press.

    Dr. James Murphy, Villanova Irish Studies professor organized the department's annual trip to Annie's Cafe in Ardmore to celebrate the birthday of Irish author James Joyce. Visiting writer and poet in residence at the University Michael Coady also read a poem at the event, as did alums Josh Alcorn '03 and Brian Crowe '01, according to Suburban & Wayne Times.

   Dr. Charles Zech, a Villanova economic professor, was quoted in Chicago Tribune, Jersey Journal, and Trenton Monitor, articles on priest as an expert on the economics of religious organizations.

   Dr. M. Louise Fitzpatrick, Connelly Endowed Dean and professor at Villanova College of Nursing, spoke on the urgent need for nurse educators in Philadelphia Business Journal.

   A column in the New York Sun lister Dr. James Maule, a Villanova business professor, as one of the most opinionated and thought-provoking tax bloggers on the Internet.

   Villanova English professor Dr. James J. Kirschke, who is also a decorated Vietnam veteran and author of Not Going Home Alone: A Marine's Story, led a discussion on Tim O' Briend's book The Things They Carried at Haverford Township Free Library, according to Newtown Square's Haverford Press and Delaware County Daily Times.

   Dr. Anthony Godzieba, a Villanova theology and religious studies professor, was the guest speaker at a luncheon for the Serra Club of Philadelphia, according to Philadelphia's Catholic Standard and Times.

   Villanova Law School dean Mark Sargent, J.D. was quoted in a  Philadelphia Inquirer article involving the legal implications of on-campus military recruiting.

   Philadelphia Daily News reported on "Catalpa", a one-man play that ran throughout February at St. Stephen's Theater in Philadelphia. Dr. Kathryn Nocero, a Villanova professor of core humanities and theater, directed the production.

   West Chester's Daily Local News reported on the new fulltime graduate degree program that Villanova's College of Commerce and Finance will offer.

   Ardmore's News of Delaware County reported that, in the upcoming summer, Villanova University will host day and overnight sessions of iD Tech Camps, a supplemental education program that allows youngsters to study video game technology in a hands-on environment.
